WIRED: Helping Cooks Unsalt Their GameThe Cook's Collage is an assisted-cognition food prep system in the works at Georgia Tech's Everyday Computing Lab. The Cook's Collage takes snapshots during meal preparation and displays the cook's six most recent actions on a flat-panel display mounted above the countertop. Researchers envision the system helping senior citizens prepare meals, sparing them -- and dinner guests -- from sugar shock or overseasoning.
