UltraLabs: What is eTui all about?"The eTui project is attempting to develop tools that may help children to talk about learning; an obvious clue that they may be thinking about learning! [W]e have started with the assumption that if a toy can be so highly absorbing to a child, then activities which enable them to think about learning could be based around a toy that appears to learn, or "think". If we could find the right features that children not only find attractive, but also have longevity in this regards, then children may undertake activities with it that could result in a metalevel understanding of learning. In other words, by observing the learner in certain situations, the child, through some process (that we are also hoping to understand), may start to think about the learning process."
