The social life of echo chambers
A thought provoking article from David Weinberger on the fallacy of likening the web to an echo chamber where people get together to talk with people who believe the same thing as they do. He uses the failure of the Dean campaign to illustrate that although people do get together for agreement, they also build on this agreement to talk about disagreement. I guess thats where learning takes place.Permalink | Friday, April 02, 2004
