Even though the employee may feel newly empowered with knowledge, they will be surprised at just how quickly they will forget some of what they have learnt. In order to stop this intellectual haemorrhaging, many e-learning vendors are now providing additional reference materials, in the form of online reference libraries or in-application query tools, which supplement the e-learning experience and ensure that the employee has all the necessary tools to hand, outside of the virtual classroom.
