IT Director: Knowledge, Information, Content - or just DataWhile we're on the subject we can have a go at information and knowledge management too. We analysts like to produce a pretty picture of a pyramid where there is loads of data at the bottom. This gets processed in some way to become information, and then combined with loads of other stuff to develop knowledge. However, once again, information is just data - slightly processed but just more data.
