Ignition Design: Interview with Kathleen TynerReal shifts in literacy take a long time to happen. We’d all like to believe that if we make today’s kids into genuinely sophisticated consumers and producers of media, the industry will rise to the occasion with more diverse and sophisticated fare than we’re seeing today. I’m skeptical. But I’d be happy to settle for giving people better ways to interpret the world and express themselves.
