elearnspace: Learning With ConfidenceThis paper examines whether students are developing skills which allow them to confidently tackle challenging problems, generate creative solutions, and learn and adapt from mistakes made. An overview of strategies which help to create an atmosphere of fearless learning in the classroom is also presented. The roles of teachers and students are also discussed, evaluating the benefits and liabilities of the current structure as well as examining what changes need to occur in order to create an atmosphere of fearless learning in the classroom.
